A Louis XV-style inlaid music cabinet attributed to Sormani, a renowned Parisian ébéniste during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The cabinet is comprised of three sections, a center section with lower "tambour" doors which open to reveal a shelved interior surmounted by an open galleried area decorated with gilded bronze swags. The center cabinet is flanked by two outer doors decorated with finely chased and gilded bronze musical motifs.
